Release show for Rural
Moloken have announced the release show for Rural, it will take place in their hometown Umeå on november 30th. Specialguest are labelmates Ghamorean so this will surley be a night to remember.
The latest addition to our rooster is Skellefteå outfit Terrortory. They will release their debut album november 25th and this will of course not be celebrated without a great show!

The selftitled EP gained alot of great reviews all over europe and the band have been constantly touring since its release. Now the band completed the recordings of their upcoming debut album which will contain 9 songs and is beeing mixed in this very moment. European Tour
The band will head out for a 16 day long european tour together with Italian dark hardcore act "Curse This Ocean" and will take them through 8 countries: Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Austria, Romania and Hungary.

Skellefteå offsprings Terrortory will release their debut album "the seed left behind" in the last quater of this year.

Soldier One releases new album in 3 episodes, 1 episode out now!
Since the release of the bands selftitled debut 7" vinyl, it seems like time have stood still for Solider One, but no, they have secretly been planning their sequal and time if finally upon us:
"WITNESSING THE ORCHESTRATION OF TIME"
is the title of the upcoming second album from swedish SID power violence duo Soldier One,
exploring the vast sonic possibilities of combining 21st century power violence with oldschool 8-bit audio hardware; the sound most of us remember from the early home computer Commodore 64 with the not as well known epileptic energic outbursts of power violence, a subgenre of hardcore punk.
"Witnessing the Orchestration of Time" is a suite consisting of three episodes: Episode 1: Quantum Fluctuation (digital release 11th August 2011)
Episode 2: Deconstructing Spheres (digital release 11th September 2011)
Episode 3: Configuration of Spheres in Pixelated Bodies (digital release 11th October 2011)
The episodes will be available for free download when released at www.soldier001.com
A complete album will then be released in its physical form on 11-11-11.
Following the physical release 11-11-11, a short release tour in Sweden and Norway together with Next Life is planned.

Release postponed
Molokens new album Rural is set to be released in november and not in august like first announced, exact release date will be revealed soon. The album mix is now finished and will be mastered during next week by long time companion Sven Engdahl.

the cover design will be handled yet again by graphic artist/animator Kenny Lindström (organic level) known for his previous work with Moloken but also for Bring Me the Horizon, Totalt Jävla Mörker, Logh, Norma Jean and much more. The Rural cover is completely hand drawn and needed 8 scans to get all artwork, now it will be digitally coloured and said to be more phsycadelic and more intricate then previous artworks.

the band has also reported that their first video is beeing filmed by renowned metal video makers Standard Film Team. Responsible for videos by Dark Funeral, Aeon, Ghamorean, Santification, Plector, Zonaria, Feral and more. The video how ever will not contain a single shoot of the band unlike their previous work. expect a dark, atmospheric estetic with beautiful landscape views.

Plector records new album, releases Flann-Hell video vol.2 - 2011/07/10
Plector has finally begun to record their new yet untitled album, this will be their first with the new line up since Patrik Wall joined the band on bass, taking over from Björn Algers. Recording will take place at Toon-track studios, known around the world for their "Drumkit From Hell" software featuring Tomas Haake from Meshuggah among others. So expect nothing else than superior sound
Flann-Hell Volume 2 has finally been released, the 36 minutes long video contains live footage from both US tours, recordings of Dark & Spiteful and random folksy tour shit, funny as hell!

Finally we have some news from Umeås metal sensation Moloken is finally upon us.
There has been a great silence from these gentlemen of darkness and doom,
ever since their last tour ended in October 2010 which took them through Scandinavia,
headlining shows in Norway, Sweden and Finland.
And as you may or may not know, the band entered the studio in November 2010
and now all recordings are complete. But very little information has left the camp.

Hi, below we have the honour to finally release some news to the mass, about our new album, South America release of Our Astral Circle, new shows and European booking agency.
* Our upcoming album have finally be entitled, namely: Rural.
* The album will be released in Scandinavia and Europe by Discouraged Records on august the 27th.

Finally, the first gigs for Moloken is booked, it will be a little tour in the north of sweden. Playing together with Gävle's Meleeh and Skellefteås Angel With No Arms and last gig in Umeå with metalheads Zonaria.

this year will actually be full of things to come. I will release my new band Moloken's CDEP sometime in march. I am also currently helping good friends in Royal Downfall to get their new album "these means have no end" and their debut "8-16" on my distribution with sound pollution.

my long going side project Moloken has turned out to be a quartet. First recording as a band took place in Piteå in early november, their we recorded a 15 minute long monster that will be released sometime in march. the song is now beeing mixed by mastermind Sven Engdahl (pookie syndrome amongs others) and will feature Johnny from insomniac convetion (cult of luna among others) on soundscapes and effects.
we are currently planning shows ahead and hopefully february will be a good month with our first show ever and then some. more news on that later on.

the gigs in finland with pookie syndrome was awesome. even though it was only 2 it was totally fucking excellent to rehearse with the boys again and play some funky shit. we have also printed a new t-shirt thats available now.

Instead the Pookie Syndrome will for the first time head over to the land of thousand lakes FINLAND to play 2 gigs with Finlands pride Unkind and Derrida. this will take place the 5:th and 6:th of september in Oulu and Rovaniemi. so you northern finns, be sure to check it out!

LITHANY
A week ago, i was invited to listen to some new lithany tunes. and despite the loss of a guitarist and then their vocalist. they haven't slacked off. they have about 7 complete songs (without vocals then of course) and is still looking for a singer in the Umeå region. so if you like their shit and want to try it out. please contact them.
the songs are heavier and harder than before and it will kick the living shit out of people. hopefully the vocalist process wont take too long time and they can begin to record for future release.

25 new distro items
yes, even though the server has been down i haven't been slacking off on the server. Since many of my items was sold out i have bougth a lot of both new and old but still fresh records!
THE DISTRO
as you might have noticed, i have started a distro. i just finished adding new records and have now a total of 50 records. its all a great mix of cd and vinyl and genres like metal, hardcore, punk, rock, postrock, screamo and whatnot.
the distro goal is to focus on band from the north parts of sweden (norrland) but it will contain everthing i like aswell. hope you enjoy and start shopping!
now i have updated the site in a more complete sense haha, in the "artists" page you can now click on the bands for more info and such and on the "releases" page you can click on the releases and get more info and reviews on each release.
now you can actually learn something about the label and the bands hahah
